I often see dolphins when I travel by ship. When I was a university student, I studied Naval Architecture in Ambon city. I travel by Pelni passenger ship from my hometown in Manokwari to Ambon. During the sea trip, I often sea dolphins in large group. I used to travel by small ships and boats too across Raja Ampat islands and Cendrawasih bay. Dophins often played in front of the bow the ship, perhaps, trying to show that they could swim faster than the ship.

Title: Dolphins in the Wave
Size: A4
Media: Charcoal and watercolour on paper
Artist: Charles Roring
Year: 2013
I used to publish the digital version of the drawing of these dolphins and the waves in my blog and in Redbubble which I had reworked in Autodesk Sketchbook. So, the digital version and the above original watercolour painting look similar but not exactly the same.
If you are interested in buying this watercolour painting in its original version or in its art print one, please, contact me (Charles Roring) by email to: peace4wp@gmail.com or by whatsapp through this contact link:
