Birding is usually carried out early in the mornings. We start our trip from Sorong city at 05:00. We will go by car for around 1 hour to a hill outside Sorong city. When we reach it, the light of the morning sun starts to appear in the sky. Birds begin to sing and fly. Hornbills fly over the canopy of the forest.
We will have some coffee or tea with biscuits, first. After having light breakfast, we will start walking to watch birds. Binoculars, spotting scope, and camera with telephoto lens could be used for watching and photographing birds.
There are also butterflies that can be seen during the tour. They include New Guinea Clipper, Common Green Birdwing, Ulysses and Cruiser butterflies.

At around 10:30, we will walk back to our car and return to Sorong city.
