Manado city is the capital of the Province of North Sulawesi. It is the main gate for visitors who want to enjoy wildlife watching tour in the highland of Minahasa or go snorkeling and scuba-diving in the Bunaken Marine National Park. As a matter of fact, the suburban area of Manado city is also an interesting destination for nature oriented tours especially sightseeing in traditional village and agricultural land as well as wildlife watching to see birds, butterflies and etc.

Day 1
We will meet you very early in the morning at 05:45 at your hotel. We will go by car to suburban area of Manado city. Birding will be carried out on foot along the roadside near waterfall to look for Sooty-headed Bulbul, Slender-billed Crow, Eurasian Treesparrow, Finch-billed Myna, Hair-crested (White-eyed) Drongo, Black-naped Fruit Dove and Cattle Egret, Green Imperial Pigeon and etc. At around 09:00, we will return to Manado city to allow tour participant to take a rest.

At around 12:00, we will have lunch and then visit the Museum of Manado to have a brief info about historical and cultural background of peoples who have lived in North Sulawesi since ancient times.
At around 15:00, we will continue our tour to hill area of Manado city to watch more birds and see the scenery of Manado and its waters. At around 18:00 local time, we will return to the city again. Finish.

| Sonder town and its surrounding agricultural land |
Day 2
We will organize your transfer to Minahasa highland. The destination is a homestay in Sonder town. Check into the homestay. We will start by doing a birding walk around the forest of Tounelet to look for Sulawesi Hanging Parrot, Gray-cheeked Green Pigeon, Pale Blue Monarch, Cattle Egret, Little Egret, Black-crowned White-eye, Yellow-sided Flowerpecker and a lot more. Lunch at 12:00. We will take a rest after that. At 15:00, we will start again by birding along the farmland in the north of Sonder town to look for Sulawesi Drongo, Black-naped Oriole, Sultan's Cuckoo Dove, White-breasted Woodswallow, Blue-tailed Bee-eater, Collared Kingfisher and a lot more. Back to homestay, dinner, take a rest.

Day 3
We will go to Mount Mahawu to see its scenery and then down the slope along the forest and farmland to watch such birds as Crimson Sunbird, Black-faced Munia, Turquoise Flycatcher, Citrine Canary Flycatcher, Warbling White-eye, Black-crowned White-eye, Chestnut Munia, Black-faced Munia, Scaly-breasted Munia, Sahul Sunbird and etc.
We will have lunch in Tomohon town. After that we will return to homestay to take a rest. In the afternoon, we will do birdwatching and sightseeing along the hotspring area of Lahendong or Leilem to see Sunda Teal, Grey-rumped Treeswift, Gray Wagtail, Collared Kingfisher.
