I often receive requests from tourists who only have little time in Sorong city but still want to enjoy birdwatching and see nature. Usually, I will pick them up at the hotel early in the morning at 05:00. After that I will bring them to birding site in mangrove forest. It takes around 45 minutes to reach it. Birds such as Emperor Fairywren, Glossy-mantled Manucode, Helmeted Friarbird, Brown Oriole and etc. could be found in Mangrove area. Sometimes, if we are lucky enough, we could see Blue Black Kingfisher and Collared Imperial Pigeon. Visitors who have got binoculars can bring the equipment to watch birds.

At around 09:00, we could continue our trip to a hill just outside Sorong city to look for such birds as Spangled Drongo, Eclectus Parrot, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Coconut Lorikeet, Black-capped Lory, Dollarbird, Pacific Bazza, and etc.

The surrounding view of the hill is beautiful. We could see the landscape of Sorong city from a distant.

At around 10:00, we will bring tour participants back to their hotel.
