Manokwari bay early in the morning

The photographs of Manokwari city in the morning were taken yesterday. It was early in the morning when the ship harbor (haven) of Manokwari was empty. There were four cargo ships berthing along the pier. There were no activities, I like walking and jogging along the Panoramaweg (Brawijaya street) to keep my body healthy. Yesterday, I decided to continue walking to the harbor.

I walked around at the cross road leading to Kampung Ambon and heading along the street between the DPRD office (West Papua provincial representative house) and (the governor's office) and finally I entered the harbor complex. Containers occupy most of the harbor area. I walked to the harbor and saw the ships there. But my goal was not making photo shots of the ships but the Dorey bay of Manokwari. The waters of the bay was very calm and the scenery of Arfak mountain was very beautiful. Standing on the pier between the ships, I was able to take some photographs of the Arfak mountain that looked blue.
Dorey bay is one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Here the city of Manokwari - the capital of West Papua province in the Republic of Indonesia stretches along the bay. In the north, there is Table Mountain where tourists who are nature lovers like going hiking, butterflying, bird watching, caving, and bat watching. There are some coral islands in the bay where beautiful coral reef and World War II shipwrecks become the favorite diving sites for scuba divers.
Tourists also from around the world come to Manokwari to see beautiful birds in the Arfak Mountain. Various species of birds of paradise, bower birds, hornbills live in the tropical rainforest of the Table Mountain and Arfak Mountain in Manokwari.
